Free Test Preparation Classes

CGTC’s Adult Education Division offers free Pre-GED® and GED®, ASVAB, and ACCUPLACER test preparation classes in the counties listed below. Baldwin, Bibb, Crawford, Dooly, Houston, Jones, Monroe, Peach, Pulaski, Putnam and Twiggs counties. The end goal for participants in these courses is a passing score on the GED® test or HiSET exam and program-ready ASVAB and ACCUPLACER scores. Our programs enhance students’ basic education, critical thinking, digital literacy, soft (essential), and industry- specific skills to foster success in any industry regardless of their academic or career pursuits. In addition to test preparation, the Adult Education Division provides instruction in the following areas: basic skills review, work ethics, soft skills, college and career readiness, and digital literacy. Morning, afternoon, night, and online schedules are available. Additional resources are available for the out of school youth, underemployed and unemployed adult, and reentry populations of Central Georgia.
